The Wedding of
Dawn + Lee
5 April 2016
A day before storm Katie – a lucky escape to the fantastic day ahead, the sun beamed in between the rain clouds and we knew today was going to be a good one!
Ryan first met Dawn and Lee in person a few months back at Bluewater to discuss and finalise wedding plans. It was on his car journey home that he rang and told me what a sweet couple we were going to be working with. It was more than evident that these two were the rightfully deserving winners of Essex Wedding Awards most romantic couple of the year!
Returning to one of our favourite venues, we jumped in the car and headed down the M20 to Leeds Castle, Maidstone, Kent.
From the moment you enter, its pristine gardens, glory and lavish decoration it’s a vision of pure class and it really does speak volumes as it humbly stands on its island surrounded by accompanying moat.
We parked up, unloaded the equipment and made our way to the on-site Costa (result!!)… It was here that we met our good friends Steve & Gemma of ‘Steve Barber Photography’. It’s always a pleasure to work alongside these two and better yet their photos are pretty awesome too!
As I expected both Dawn and Lee were lovely, both absolute naturals around the cameras making our job incredibly easy.
The two stately bedrooms Dawn and Lee had commandeered to get were tremendously spacious, lavishly furnished and flooded with natural light. What more could we ask for!?
All set up and ready, we were good to go as Dawn made her entrance into the ceremony. She looked absolutely stunning. I always get the best view up the front with the tripod and the couple profoundly radiated off of one another. With eye contact as strong as the bond between them they stood hand in hand and made their vows, smiling and enjoying every single moment. Mr and Mrs Middleton! – Horaaaaay…
They were both so relaxed and without doubt completely overwhelmed by the love and support from both family and friends. The most wonderful thing about our job is that it never feels like work and capturing one of the most special and memorable days of their lives is a total joy.
Thank you for having us, we really enjoyed the wedding surrounded by such a great group of people. It was an absolute pleasure and we wish you all the love and happiness in your newly wedded lives together.
Congratulations! :)
